It is indeed still possible, first you'll need to host a server (use gameranger unless you have and know how to use a server box) then your gonna wanna open up the console once you are in your game (you have to be the host of the server in order to use the console) then your gonna wanna go in your program files and locate the folder called 'maps' here is it's default directory: Star Wars Republic Commando > GameData > Maps.
